Charles J. Wondra
Chuck Wondra is a director in the Winston-Salem office. He is responsible for leading a team of wealth management specialists to serve the financial needs of multigenerational families and non-profit organizations. The coordinated effort of both internal partners and external advisors provides comprehensive strategies to enhance the decisions regarding current wealth and its stewardship over time. With over 25 years of industry experience, Chuck brings a comprehensive understanding of the ultra-high-net worth client’s needs.
Prior to joining Wells Fargo in 2008, Chuck was a relationship manager with JP Morgan Private Bank in Naples, Florida where he assisted families with the implementation of appropriate asset allocation strategies, utilize credit to leverage wealth, and estate and gift planning techniques to maximize the orderly transition of wealth to the next generation and/or to charity. He has assisted non-profit organizations in the development of asset allocation strategies, adoption of appropriate spending policies and business development efforts to grow the foundations assets. Additionally, he was a senior trust administrator and team leader for Northern Trust, overseeing in excess of $1.1 billion in assets.
Chuck received two bachelor’s degrees in finance and marketing from the University of Akron. He has completed National Trust and National Graduate Trust School from the American Bankers Association.
Chuck is a Certified Trust and Financial Advisor (CTFA®) and is a CFP® professional. He is a SAFE-registered mortgage loan originator (NMLSR ID 588230).
