Joel Alberts is a director in the Minneapolis office. In addition to managing client relationships, Joel’s experience includes working with closely-held business owners and addressing wealth transfer planning objectives.
Joel was previously a director for Wells Fargo Family Wealth and has been with Wells Fargo since 1999. Prior to joining Wells Fargo, Joel spent nearly 10 years at the international accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Joel received a juris doctor degree from the University of Iowa College of Law and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Central University of Iowa. He is affiliated with the American Bar Association and Corporate Fiduciaries Association of Minnesota.
Currently, Joel serves on the Hope Academy Advisory Board and the Central College Alumni Board. Joel is the treasurer of the Twin Cities Spoke of the International Christian Cycling Club. Joel is a SAFE-registered mortgage loan originator (NMLSR ID 524736).
Joel lives in Shorewood, Minnesota, with his wife, Brenda, and their two children, Emma and Isaac.
