Amy L. Jucoski
Amy is the managing director of Legacy and Wealth Planning at Abbot Downing. She is responsible for leading a national team of experienced and credentialed professionals who collaborate with the Abbot Downing relationship team, including banking, asset management, and fiduciary services, in addition to other trusted advisors, to create multigenerational wealth plans that reflect the values, priorities, and goals of the client. In her leadership role, she serves as the liaison for Legacy and Wealth Planning to ensure consistency in the delivery of planning services and resources across the country. Amy also organizes strategic initiatives focused on enhancing the Abbot Downing planning practice, including collaborating with Abbot Downing’s Institute for Family Culture to deliver comprehensive services to help families understand the personal and interpersonal impact of unique wealth. Amy continues to serve as a senior strategist for a number of clients in her region, providing wealth transfer, tax, and financial planning solutions.
Amy has provided tax and financial planning solutions to affluent clients and their families for over 17 years. She previously served in various leadership roles, including serving as manager of new business implementations, the employee benefits payment processing center, and the retiree call center within Wachovia Bank’s Trust Operations, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo. She also spent one year in Wachovia Corporate Tax where she was responsible for state tax return preparation for Wachovia Bank’s subsidiaries.
After receiving a bachelor’s degree in science in management from University of Phoenix, a paralegal degree from Champlain College, and completing tax, accounting, and other finance-related courses at High Point University, Amy became a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) professional. Amy is currently a member of the Winston-Salem Estate Planning Council, serves on the Board of Directors of the Downtown Winston-Salem Partnership, and is a conference committee member for the Personal Financial Planning section for the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants.
At home, Amy and her husband are entrepreneurs and enjoy working with real estate. They have made their home in Lexington, North Carolina with their two daughters and son.
