Regional Chief Investment Officer
Jerome is a regional chief investment officer of Asset Management overseeing investment strategy and portfolio construction for ultra-high-net-worth families and managing a team of investment professionals responsible for over $5.5 billion in client assets. He joined Wells Fargo in 1997 and has over 30 years of investment industry experience.
Prior to joining Abbot Downing, Jerome was a director of investments with Wells Fargo Family Wealth. In this role, he established and served as director of the Investment Consulting Group, helping develop the asset allocation programs, investment manager due diligence process, and the method for reporting integrated investment performance. Prior to Wells Fargo, Jerome was director of marketing for Franklin Management, Inc., and a principal for the money management firm, Spare, Kaplan, Bischel & Associates.
Jerome earned his master’s degree in business administration with a concentration in finance from Golden Gate University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of the Pacific.
He serves on the board of the Salesian Boys & Girls Club of San Francisco and is an active supporter of the San Francisco Opera Guild.
Jerome and his wife, Grace, raised three children and reside in Lafayette, California.
