Foundations and Endowments
John C. Fabie
As the senior director of the Foundations and Endowments group, John is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the client service requirements for the firm’s Foundations and Endowments clients. He is particularly passionate about his work in helping to create and manage public and private endowments.
John has more than 25 years of experience in financial advising. He joined Lowry Hill in 2010 as a financial principal and led the firm’s expanded services efforts, via its OCIO model, to a broader range of foundations and endowments. Prior to joining Lowry Hill, he was a managing director at Marquette Asset Management, where he was a founding member of the firm and a member of the board of directors. Before Marquette Asset Management, John was a vice president at Bel Air Investment Advisors, LLC, where he was part of the senior management team.
In 1984, John received a commission in the United States Army from the University of Wisconsin, La Crosse, Wisconsin (ROTC). Following college, he served as a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Army and attack helicopter company commander in the U.S. Army Reserve, achieving the rank of captain. John is a Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) and earned the Investment Management Consultants Association’s (IMCA) Foundations and Endowments certificate in conjunction with the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania in May 2008. John is a member of the Army Aviation Association of America and serves on the board of directors of the Minnesota State Fair Foundation.
