Peter M. Gould
Peter is a managing director of Private Banking in the Los Angeles office overseeing banking and lending for families of significant wealth. Since joining Wells Fargo in 2009 as a senior vice president, Peter’s experience has been serving the banking needs of high-net-worth families with a primary focus on custom lending solutions. He has been in the banking industry for over 25 years.
Prior to joining Abbot Downing, Peter held senior positions at Citibank’s Private Bank. Peter also spent 13 years with Bank of America and Banc of America Securities where he worked in commercial banking and asset-based lending as well as investment banking where he focused on financial sponsor coverage for private equity firms.
Peter is a SAFE-registered mortgage loan originator (NMLSR ID 540927).
Peter earned his bachelor’s degree in astrophysics from Wesleyan University in Connecticut. He is on the board of directors of Interface Children and Family Services, an interdisciplinary Ventura County non-profit focused on family resources, family violence prevention, and other related services. He is a former board member for Westlake Agoura Girls Softball and the Boys and Girls Clubs of Long Beach.
Peter’s family lives in Agoura Hills, California, and he has two high school-aged children.
